Dr. Dingee did her training in Family Medicine and General Surgery at the University of British Columbia. She is a General Surgeon with a subspecialty practice in surgery of the breast. Her hospital practice is based at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital and she also works at St. Paul’s Hospital and UBC Hospital. Dr. Dingee is a Clinical Professor in the University of British Columbia Department of Surgery.
Dr. Dingee established the sentinel lymph node procedure at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital. She was co-chair of the BC Cancer Agency committee that determined indications for breast MRI in British Columbia, and member of the BC Cancer Agency task force on lymphedema that established clinical practice guidelines for hand and arm care and management of lymphedema.
