Dr. Melina Deban

Dr. Deban is a surgical oncologist at Providence Breast Centre. Born in France to Persian parents, she moved to Montreal at a young age and completed medical school at McGill University. She did her general surgery training at Université de Montréal before her Surgical Oncology fellowship at University of Calgary. During her training, she has obtained several awards from Université de Montréal, l’Association québécoise de chirurgie and the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Deban’s professional interests include improvement in perioperative care and quality of life of patients/survivorship. She offers surgery for breast pathologies including oncoplastic reconstruction techniques. She is pleased to join the dynamic team at Providence Breast Centre.
